New tread pattern features wide, stable central blocks with large lateral grooves to provide superb water evacuation, and smaller longitudinal grooves to optimize block stiffness, thereby increasing wear resistance. Features Dunlop's single-radius concept introduced on the D208ZR which reduces changes to the contact patch area at different lean angles for improved feel and more progressive steering response. The front tire uses two different constructions: The 90 series sizes use conventional cross-ply technology, and the latest materials, construction and manufacturing technology; The low-profile 80 series tires use Dunlop's aramid breaker tread reinforcement and radial casting technology derived from their racing tires to provide excellent steering response and cornering stability. Rear tire combines Jointless Band (JLB) construction with Dunlop Carcass Tension Control System for enhanced cornering and wear performance, excellent high-speed stability and exceptional tire compliance.
